I love it! I live here, I work here and I spend most of my work time working with organisations and communities in Sheffield. Sheffield is the friendliest city in the UK, people still thank the bus driver when you get off the bus here and will help strangers if they are lost. It's like a large village.
But I think the way people and partners will work together to solve issues and just get on with it gives it a different kind of feel to other cities too. I work on tricky issues like integration, social cohesion, migration, asylum and refugees, voluntary sector support and Grant Aid, Counter Extremism, community development, Roma... but I find that everyone is friendly to each other and willing to help out. It makes a huge difference.
