Museums Sheffield

Museums Sheffield is the charity that runs the city’s Millennium Gallery, Weston Park Museum and Graves Gallery and cares for Sheffield’s collections of art, human history and natural science.

They provide inspirational museums and galleries where people can reflect upon the past, question the present and imagine the future, bringing the best in art and design to Sheffield and celebrating our fantastic home-grown creative talent. This could not have been more evident than in the recent Vehicle of Nature, an immersive installation created by the internationally renowned Sheffield digital studio, Universal Everything, which went on display alongside drawings by Leonardo da Vinci for the nationwide Royal Collection partnership exhibition, A Life in Drawing.

Each year Museums Sheffield welcome over one million visitors to its three sites – they work with organisations and communities across the city to tell Sheffield’s remarkable story, connecting people from all walks of life with the world and each other.

Kim Streets is Chief Executive of Museums Sheffield, a member of Sheffield Culture Consortium and a Governor of Sheffield College.
